Carburettor body 76/112, WM 20

Hi,

I need another carburettor body, as at my one the thread for the union nut is badly damaged. It´s not possible to tighten the nut anymore.

Is there anyone, who could help with a carburettor body or a complete carburettor in good condition for my WM 20, 1942?

Hi Ali. If you're going for another carb, the correct one is a 276C/1B. Ron

The 76/112 with the long stub was fitted to the Ariel 500cc and 600cc sidevalves up until 1939.

I have a 276 AZ/IJ in very good condition complete £150 and it's yours.

Thanks for your offer. I found a used 276C/1B in quite good condition. Unfortunately they are pretty leaking, particularly after using the tickler..
But maybe that's how it's supposed to be276-C-1-B-3

They will usually leak through the bleed hole once the float bowl is over filled. This will normally settle down once the engine is running. Ron

Re: Carburettor body 76/112, WM 20

To my knowledge- the production carb for the m20 was the 276 C1 B
But if a replacement part was required from Amal it was specified as
276 014 R
