Good album. Songs are strong. I still prefer the more indie garage rock sound of fever to tell. Best part of the labum is her extremely strong voice. It soars when needed and articulates on all the right moments. The production value is astounding, but is hardly unexpected. I was suprised by the lack of pulse pounding hard rock songs, the album was alot more quiet than I was expecting.
My only real problem is that they gained no further ground in there careers. Being their third album I expected something career defining, yet what I got was there "Some Girls" or their "easter". IT's good, but its hardly mind blowing. Disco's still dead, but this bleeds new life and direction into the genre (Oddly)
I'll be picking this up once it's out. I absolutely ADORE the lead single "Zero", however. It's pure magic, and an early candidate for song of 2009 for me!
