Here are the results of the second round, or the final P&J songs of 2008 poll results if you like.
They will be presented in three steps:
1 Songs ending at #26 to #45: coming up right after.
2 Songs ending at #11 to #25: tomorrow evening.
3 Songs ending in the top 10: Tuesday.
That's it for now, more results coming up tomorrow / later today ...
Two additional remarks:
- If you're listed as fan, it means you sponsored the song with 10 or more points
- By default, the release year is 2008. If, according to RYM, it is not 2008, it is mentioned specifically.
The battle Brooklyn vs. Seattle isn't over. TV on the Radio seems to be losing but there is still left MGMT with three songs.
And four Vampire Weekend songs too (probably not from Brooklyn but from New York).
To be serious it's amazing that Fleet Foxes have 6 songs in top 25.
Clowns is one of 3 songs in the top 20, that only got 3 nominations. As many others among us, I did not know this song until the recommendations thread came along. It is a beautiful song that keeps growing with every listen ... and nice to see it end up at #19!
It's getting really bizarre: 6 Fleet Foxes songs left for the last 18!
For what it's worth, here are some correlation stats again for you:
* 5 lowest pairwise correlations

2. sonofsamiam and Penguin: -0,237
3. BillAdama and Penguin: -0,235
4. Honorio and Andre: -0,234
5. Fred and Toni: -0,232
* 5 highest pairwise correlations
1. Fred and BillAdama: 0,633
2. Andre and Miguel: 0,613
3. Miguel and Jonah: 0,557
4. Michael and Stephan: 0,505
5. Miguel and Moonbeam: 0,483
I'm gonna continue with a few more songs, before crashing into bed ... so here comes number 6.
This song was leading at the beginning, but only got 2 more votes by the last 13 submitters. It is the second song from the artist in the end list, and called:
# 7: Machine Gun
Artist: Portishead
Score: 100 (9 Scores, 7 Nominations)
Fans: Mitchell Stirling (22), Fred (15), BillAdama (15), Harold Wexler (12), VGRD (10)
So, we got 1 'Motown' song and 1 Folk 'A-Capella' song left ...
... and on the very last day of voting, it all got really close. Even stronger, the very last voter, Toni, gave points to both songs! In the end, the difference between the two is 3 points only!
