I have compiled a list of the most acclaimed Canadian musical artists using 5 Canadian published sources (and that's all I can find so far) 1 UK, 1 US, and 2 International sources, to come up with this list. I think this list more accurately reflects what Canadians think of their own artists. Some of the names below are not currently listed in AM, so check it out, you may find a new favourite. I hope to publish this list in a website of my own next year, along with reviews and recommended albums, but until then, here's a sneak peek of the top 60 as it stands today:
