I guess my question is for those from non-English speaking countries. What role does music from America/Britain play in your country relative to native acts singing in the native language. Is it mixed in, more played, or do you have to seek it out?

For me, it's all there is. The Dutch music scene is pretty rubbish nowadays. On MTV and TMF (Dutch MTV of sorts) they show mainly English acts but I'd say about 25% is Dutch. I don't watch MTV though, so I could be off. On the popular radio channels it's probably around the same percentage, but the radio channels I like play pretty much only English music.

There's a lot of Norwegian artists who sings in English, but some of the most popular sings in Norwegian.
