So spectacularly cheesy - roller-rink organ, conga drum, over-the-top Lennon vocal - that it has to be deliberate. Doesn't make it any better.

The originals on PLEASE PLEASE ME are superb; the covers (excepting "Twist and Shout") are utterly indistinguishable from the filler found on any beat-group album of the era. This one gets the nod because George-sung covers by default are more boring than those sung by John or Paul.
