Wow, hundreds if not thousands of records listed here and not one mention of my favorite record of the decade, "Ghosts of the Great Highway" by Sun Kil Moon.

I must say, I need to listen to more music from the 21st century. There are many albums that I really want to listen to from the Strokes, the Arcade Fire, Sufjan Stevens, Franz Ferdinand, Wilco, Eminem, Kanye West, Brian Wilson, OutKast, the White Stripes (I've heard "Elephant," as well as several of their '90s albums), Gnarls Barkley, Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen, the Shins, the Raconteurs, Modest Mouse, Gorillaz (I've heard most of "Demon Days" and I love it), Beck (I heard some of "The Information" in the store and thought it was awesome), Belle and Sebastian (love "Funny Little Frog"), Feist (love "My Man My Moon" and "1234"), Regina Spektor (love "On the Radio" and "Fidelity"), Weezer, Manitoba, Jay-Z, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Red Hot Chili Peppers, etc., but for now, here are the ones I would consider to be my favourites of the 2000s (top 20, in alphabetical order):

Greg, I just noticed that you had 12 Rods- Separation Anxieties on your list. I totally forgot about that album! I don't know if I'd put it on my list but for killer songs that album has three in What Has Happened, Marionette and Astrogimp. I used to have that album... I wonder what happened to it.
