How do you know what the record store just got in?

You should buy an Elliott Smith album, by the way. Everybody needs one.

IMO, there are only four great ROCK bands in America right now. The only one on this list is Drive-By Truckers. Southern Rock Opera's not their best, but it's as good a place to start as any.

Sinder Velvin: Well I like every artist in the top 60, and I'm hoping they still have "The Joshua Tree", "War", "The Complete Robert Johnson Vol 2" and "Daydream Nation" when I get there.

Both albums by The Velvet Underground are really good.

Sinder Velvin: I was thinking those two, I have two VU compilations on CD and VU & Nico on vinyl, love all three. They get so much good stuff it's hard to decide.
