I was a moderator on Annie's old forum and flew out to see her in Washington DC for a show. I met up with a fellow forum member and we were right in the front row! Her Anniemal album had meant so much to me, and I recorded my own piano version of "Heartbeat" that I wanted to give to her. I gave it to her after the encore and she came out after and spoke with us! It was a great experience, and she gave me an advance copy of her upcoming DJ Kicks contribution. I've met her after 2 other shows, and she's really a lovely person.

Since the weather up here has been so awful for so long those photos are a nice memory.
