Nelly who ?
The rapper... "Country Grammar" and some others... Not Furtado.
#1 Radiohead
#8 Yeah Yeah Yeahs (I did hesitate about this one though)
Pass (I think it would be Daft Punk but I have heard so little from Counting Crows)
#13 The Cranberries (this was really hard, I like both but like to go against the crowd, Tribe will win anyway)
#3 PJ Harvey
#11 No Doubt
#10 Belle And Sebastian
Pass (I don't know much about any of these, I really like (or at least liked) "Hot in Herre" but I have a feeling the rest of his output is pretty annoying, while my feeling is that DMB is just meh all over)
Not sure how seriously I can take a tournament in which Fats Domino loses to Bob F**king Seger, but oh well (Slick, I assume that, once again, there other voters besides those on AM?).
Anyhoo, today looks like a whole bunch of higher-seeded critical faves over middling popular successes (although I’ll confess to enjoying Incubus and even the Cranberries).
#1 Radiohead
#8 Yeah Yeah Yeahs
#5 Daft Punk
#4 A Tribe Called Quest
#3 PJ Harvey
#6 Snoop Dogg
#10 Belle and Sebastian (FINALLY…I get to pick an upset.)
Ack…pass.
#1 Radiohead
#9 John Legend (This is a close one, but I have really grown to like Leg alot over the past few years!!!)
#5 Daft Punk
#4 Tribe
#14 Incubus (I've enjoyed flashes of PJ over the years, but just not a fan overall)
#6 Snoop (For a long time this would have been a no-brainer for No Doubt, but over time I've grown to like them less and less)
#7 The Verve
#2 DMB

Out of the 29 voters 1st day out, 17 of them were AM. I would imagine once things get cranked up to have about 40 voters overall and close to a 50/50 split most days.
#1 Radiohead (glad to see Collective Soul included in the competition)
pass
#5 Daft Punk
#13 The Cranberries
pass
#11 No Doubt
too close to call
#2 Dave Matthews Band
#1 Radiohead
#8 Yeah Yeah Yeahs
#5 Daft Punk
#4 A Tribe Called Quest
#3 PJ Harvey
#6 Snoop Dogg
Pass (I can't vote against either of these acts; I enjoy them equally. I'll let you guys decide who wins.)
#15 Nelly
1. Radiohead
8. Yeah Yeah Yeahs
12. Counting Crows
4. A Tribe Called Quest
3. PJ Harvey
11. No Doubt
10. Belle and Sebastian
hmm...Nelly because at least I liked him at one point in my life (that would be 7th grade). How did DMB pull a two seed?
#1 Radiohead

#13 The Cranberries
#3 PJ Harvey
#11 No Doubt
#10 Belle And Sebastian
#2 Dave Matthews Band - it scares me that people are voting Nelly over DMB. Weird - oh well, each to their own...
