Welcome to Major League Music Week 5.
Here's how voting and such will work:
-I will post the matchups here, and you have to chose who you think the winner of each should be.
-At the end of the week, I will tally up the winner of each individual matchup. Then the total number of votes each team gets plus 5 points for each matchup they win will give us the final score.
-At the end of the final week of the regular season, the top 4 teams will advance to the playoffs. (I will post the standings each week)
-In the playoffs, seed 1 will play seed 4 and seed 2 will play seed 3. The winner of each of those matches will advance to the final.

First of all: i've seen friends of mine over here at my house saying that picking between Murphy and Bowie is the most difficult thing they had to do since they graduate at college (go get them!). Since to them Murphy is like this generation's Bowie. I don't totally get that feeling, though i do believe that Joanna Newsom is the true spiritual heir of Joni Mitchell's crown as the best female folk singer/songwriter of the last couple of decades or beyond.
