This is one of, if not my utmost, favourite EOD list so far. Despite pitching in the obscure domain further down the lower leagues (Stars Of The Lid a welcome addition nonetheless) and making a few odd picks (Deep Cuts but no Silent Shout? Elephant conspicuous in its absence too.) it's a great list that isn't afraid to leave in some mainstream big hitters and allows for multiple records per artist - Favourite Worst Nightmare and Antics, for example, both make appearances rather than be shunned by their predecessors and fully merit their high rankings. On a personal level the upper regions echo my taste heavily, and though it leans a bit heavily on an indie-rock tip (no College Dropout? the fuck outta here!) I think the top 10 just looks brilliant and is indicative of the decade in a good way - it eschews the prevalent nostalgia for early-00s records that has plagued a couple of EOD lists as well.

Anyway, there it is.

I can't believe The National's Boxer isn't getting more attention on these EOD lists.

I'd agree that this list is pretty damn good. It has both albums by The National, which needs all the help they can get. I think I'll check out some of the stuff on this list that's unfamiliar to me - it's likely to be at least pretty interesting.
