I was a navigating apprentice with BPTC 1962 to 1966. Stayed at sea through all ranks for 20 years mostly with United Baltic corporation plus a spell in Australia with BHP and a time on high speed ferries. Spent 20 years working in london for Salvage association and as a salvage consultant. Enjoyed my brief time with BP but decided there was more to life than the Persian Gulf and the smell of oil. vc |
