As per the electrics, I've ordered a Powerdynamo setup to sub in for the stock magdyno. It's a 12V system.
I'll clean up the Lucas magdyno system in case a new owner in the future wants to return it to 100% original. I figure we're just custodians of bikes like this.
Aside from prep and finishing, a lot of the work will be me fabricating replacement fasteners to replace the stock screws and bolts that have been abused over the years. Fiddly work to be sure but something to plink away at.
Amazingly the bike even came with the wartime blackout headlight cover, the original saddlebag racks, and what may be original panniers (not sure on that).
