Getting up this morning of 8/2/2011, on my mind I heard 102+ year old George Beverly Shea's "We Are Climbing Jacob's Ladder" song on my brain.

Hmmm--wonder if this could very well be a Rapture-type song that he sang at an BG Crusades Classic, as another possible clue at just how near we are to this MUCH yearned for event!?

Now the above lyrics tells where we'll be heading soon. And who is at the top of that ladder? In vs. 13, of Genesis 28 tells us that...

And behold, the LORD stood above it and said: "I am the LORD God of Abraham your father and the God of Isaac;

Before I was born again.
I knew nothing of the bible except the basic and prayers we had to memorize.

We never used a bible because we were told it would make us crazy.
Not to worry if you go to and obey this church you will go to heaven.

That said, I knew nothing of the scriptures or even how to read a bible.

For instance..when I finally met a group of 3 sisters {not nuns} in the LORD who saw my hunger for God invited me to their church bible study. They would say turn to chapter ?? and Verse???
I was so lost.. I did not know what they were talking about. They had to explain to me how to find the chapter and verses were all numbered.

I had to learn like a baby. I had to buy a bible with the tabs showing all the chapters.
They were very gentle with me. They did not make fun of my ignorance. Then once, I knew how to find my way through the bible, I couldn't get enough of it.
I read and read and got prophecy books and read and read. I was so thirsty for the WORD!

That said,
Before I met them, I had a dream.
It was a ladder in my backyard.
It went up to heaven and angels was going up and down the latter. That is all I remember of the dream.

I did not know anything about Jacob's Ladder.
Then, when I read my bible during those precious new moments in time of being born again.. And read the chapter which contained the story of Jacob's ladder.. I understood what the dream meant.
