Good find, VanillaFire. :)

Madonna's had stronger tracks, but "Borderline" is undeniable pop bliss.

Nice to see Dolly Parton's "Jolene" and Patsy Cline's "Crazy" cited.

I agree about "Borderline". It might only be my 7th favorite on her debut, but it is still fantastic! I also am happy that Prince got a spot, although "Kiss" would not be my pick.

I'm very happy to see "All My Friends" here along with tracks by Janelle Monáe, Missy Elliott, Funkadelic and New Order, all of whom I would have predicted Time leaving out.

Good list overall.

"Pineola"...

is listed under the 90s on the site.

Re: TIME Magazine ALL-TIME 100 Songs

This is actually a really good list! I think the only major changes I'd make are....

1. Swap out "Bad Romance" for "Paper Planes".
2. Swap out "Immigrant Song" for "Stairway to Heaven" or "Kashmir" or "Whole Lotta Love" or etc. Zeppelin have about 2 dozen songs better than "Immigrant Song".
3. "Der Fuehrer's Face" is funny and culturally significant, but I'd never ever ever ever ever put it on a list of the best songs ever.
