I have the biggest respect for this man. He began performing in '28, when he was only 13. And until this year, at the age of 94, he still performed every monday night in a jazzclub! That's a career of 80+ years!
He was one of a select group of musicians that completely changed music history. Without his innovations and inventions, there probably wouldn't even be rock'n'roll, and popular music as we know it today wouldn't have been possible. And I don't only mean the development of the solid-body electric guitar, but he also made many innovations in studio recording, like multi-tracking, overdubbing, sound-on-sound. He really was a true legend.
