I've not heard the album, but it seems like every time RS gives an album five stars, it's almost like they're saying "See, us old guys can still get it up."
Of course, maybe it really is an instant classic.
Yeah, I noticed that too. Although I like the album a lot, I don't think it's worth 5 stars.. 4.5 would be right. That being said, Pitchfork giving it a 6.8 is just shameful. It's almost like they are saying "See, the old guys can't get it up"
Pitchfork loses a little respect in my eyes when they feel the need to rate albums on a 100 point scale. On Rate Your Music, I have trouble rating albums on a ten point scale!
