I'm listening to "Cosmo's factory" by Creedence Clearwater Revival
the album is fantastic (for those who love CCR) but I never understood the art cover, one of the ugliest ever
I think it is the worse cover art quality /musical quality ratio
On the contrary, the best I can ever think of is the White album : excellent inside and outside !
Oh and by the way Anthony, thank you for the link you posted on the country thread about Ongoing History of New Music, a top Canadian radio show about the strory of rock after punk
There's a very good show about cover art
Nirvana's Nevermind, the kid thinks he's the world biggest porn star now.. that can't be good.
"Elden announced that he felt like a porn star. "It's kind of creepy that that many people have seen me naked," Elden said. "I feel like I'm the world's biggest porn star.""
Actually, the very highest rated album in AM (and a fine one it is!) has an extremely tacky cover. There are worse covers around, of course, but if we're talking cover "badness" relative to musical brilliance, you've got a serious candidate :-)
