hey has any of u heard a great band called The Opiates? I listened 2 their cd We Really Suck, which was released on September 17 on Circular Records (a subsidiary of Gakcorp), and it is teh bomb! The drummer uses real sticks (made of wood!) and the singer gets almost all the words in the right order! Especially if he's on his meds!
My cousin's parole officer's boyfriend works for Circular Records (a subsidiary of Gakcorp), and he todl me the Opiates are touring now! Im gonna go check them cuz i hear that songs like "Something in My Nose" and "Mutilation Girl" are just as good live!
And im not telling u this just because they pay me $3.50 to spam ur forum! I really mean it!
I wrote the above before we left for the beach. We've gotten a couple of egregiously stupid bits of record-label sponsored spam this week, and I thought a parody was called for.
