almost every music mag in the uk has funeral either the best album of 2005 or in the top 3 or 4 but it is still not moving up the lists at all???...i dont understand this at all as, for me, it is the outstanding album of the past few years...certainly far superior to franz ferdinand debut album....
Um, considering that these UK lists have all come out over the past few weeks and that Henrik hasn't had a chance to update since the end of October, why don't you wait for the next update -- which I'm sure will reflect these new UK EOY lists and send FUNERAL shooting up the list pretty impressively -- before complaining? Just a suggestion ...
"Fire" is probably left out of a lot of lists because they consider it 2004.
And the fact that most magazine lists are based on their writers' individual lists means if it gets in it will still be in a lower position.
Plus more recent albums will always tend to score lower than albums that are almost a year old (well, technically more than a year in the case of this one)
