The lowest ranked album received only 139 points, while the highest ranked 254. This makes this list a little accidental, as in some cases two votes were enough to make it. There were many ties. Whenever that happened I gave the nod to the album with more votes. If two or more albums were tied on both points and votes I ranked them ex aequo. Enjoy!

I have 18 albums in the top 101-200. This looks good for the top 100...
A very nice mix of old and new, white and black, pop and alternative, even some jazz. There are a lot of albums that I really like, but had to put aside. The biggest surprise must be Janet Jackson (3 albums!), I wonder if Control will be among the 100. And Ray of Light and Like a Prayer at 101 and 107, poor JR!
Jacek, were there any albums that missed the top 200 cut despite several votes (all in the lower end of the personal lists)?
Yeah, the list is very eclectic, this goes for the top 100 as well. Actually, aside from one major quibble, I am very excited with how it turned out. As for your question, Henrik, all albums with multiple votes made the list, but "Deserter's Songs" can blame its luck: it received 8 votes, but ended at a meager 173.
It looks like everybody wants a countdown, so I have no option but to cater to the public demand. I will post ten albums a day starting tomorrow evening.
I can't see another Madonna album finishing higher than Ray of Light and Like a Prayer, so I gess that's all for the Big M in this poll. Prince likely will have some, but, again, slight stunner that Sign O'... is where it's at.
It's a surprise for me that any Springsteen album ("Born to Run", "Darkness ..." and especially "The River") have reached the top 100. Maybe "Nebraska"?
Looks like half of my top 20 stranded in this region. Most surprising: The Who's Live at Leeds ans even more Eno's Another Green World, which is as acclaimed as you'll get em. Anyway, this looks like it will make a good list and at least people can see Bonnie "Prince" Billy and Mr and Mrs Thompson standing here.
