How did you become an audiobook narrator for Audible?

I’ve always been fascinated by how some narrators bring stories to life in such a captivating way. Their voice, tone, and ability to embody characters truly amaze me. Lately, I’ve been thinking about diving into the world of audiobook narration, especially for platforms like Audible. But I have so many questions.

How did you get started as a narrator? Did you have to go through training or auditions, or did you just stumble into it? What kind of equipment did you use when you were starting out? And what about working with audiobook services did you go directly to Audible, or did you work with agencies first?

I’d love to hear about your experiences, challenges, and any tips you’d give to someone just stepping into this field.

Also, what’s the one thing you wish someone had told you before starting your journey as an audiobook narrator?

Looking forward to your stories and advice! 😊

So, tell me, how did you find your first opportunity in this field?
