I wanna get into metal. i'm listening to Slayer's "Reign In Blood" and finding it absolutely great.

Is it because my son is a Lord of the Rings fan at 4 ?

Go to the RYM charts, tick "Exclude albums I've already rated" and you will probably get a list of mostly metal albums.
