It's so hard ! My two favorites by far far far far... are in the first match. I choose Gainsbourg because it's one of my initial choice for this game but if Morricone win, I will not be too sad.
Interestingly, none of these albums have had an easy way to the semifinals. Three out of four had a difficult time already in the first round.

I vote for Serge Gainsbourg and The Cure.
I was not a huge fan of either of the albums in the first match, but songs like "Bonnie and Clyde" gave my vote to Serge. There's something about the French singing I like, but that annoys me at the same time. I'm not sure what it is though. Maybe it's the accent...
As for the second matchup, I liked both albums. I even gave my vote to the Cure after they eliminated my last album standing (The Cry of Love).
Serge Gainsbourg - Initials B.B. - This pains me because Ennio was my nomination, but hearing all those great Gainsbourg songs collected on a single album make the Initials B.B. the slight favorite, in my opinion. Absolutely love both, but feel that Initials B.B. is the best album remaining. Hard to believe I had to plead for votes for it in the first round!
The Heartbreakers - L.A.M.F. - not even close for me. Love Johnny Thunders.

!
If you love this album, you should try another works by Serge, Initials B.B. is not his best.
Thanks for your vote...a final Morricone/Gainsbourg was a dream for me.
I like the GBU soundtrack, but I'm surprised how well an album is doing that was designed to fit the mood for particular scenes of a movie, rather than to be listened to continuously out of context. Yeah, it's perfect for the movie, but out of the context of the movie it doesn't work as well.

Since there is a tie, here's how it works, now that there's only one week per round.
The tiebreaker will stay open for one day, in which anybody who hasn't voted can cast a 'golden goal' vote. BUT, in case nobody casts a vote, we will also be running a point-buy tiebreaker. You send your vote to AMModeratePoll@gmail.com, along with the number of points you spend. If your album loses, you keep your points. If your album wins, you lose your points.
At this point in the game of course, the only reason not to spend all your points is if you care more about having the points to spend on Seventeen Seconds than either of these.
Since there have been so few ties, everybody has 10 points to spend except for:
