1. Marque De Sade - Rue de Siam
2. Genius/GZA - Liquid Swords
3. Townes Van Zandt - Live At The Old Quarter, Houston, TX
4. Van Morrison - St Dominic's Preview
5. Sade - Love Deluxe
6. Stranglers - Rattus Norvegicus
7. Blur - The Great Escape
8. Wipers - Youth Of America
Rue de Siam is my favorite discovery of the tournament. I just checked my credit card reward points for the first time in years, and I had enough for a $100 Amazon gift card. If I can find a used copy for under $100, it will be mine.
Liquid Swords I bought, and I'm listening to it now. Townes Van Zandt is an awesome listen that I am thinking of buying as well.
It's only the bottom two I didn't really connect with for this week.

The Psychedelic Sounds of The 13th Floor Elevators
(3/4)
This album provides an enjoyable listen, but is not very memorable.
The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly
(3.5/4)
A rewarding experience. This album is like a journey through the world of the film.
Ennio Morricone wins!
I don't think I've seen anyone rate music on a 4-point scale before, even though it's really common for movies.
Jackson, I find it easier to use the same scale I do for movies because I am familiar with it and have a clear understanding of what each point value represents for me.

I listened to "Youth of America". It's not a style I usually like, although Wipers could be something of an underrated band from an overrated genre. It's not even close for me though, as "Love Deluxe" was one of my nominations.
Sorry for not taking time with the other divisions.

What genre is it?
According to RYM: Post-Punk, Punk Rock, Post-Hardcore. However, someone at youtube said "That's not punk. It's Wipers."
That song is pretty good. I'd like to hear more from that band.
With the exception of that song, my feelings toward Indochine could be compared with those of Moonbeam toward the Beatles (or Beyonce when I'm in a bad mood)

Haha, I was sure you come to say that...And I agree with you. I don't like Indochine too but I heard this song this morning in the bus and I thought it was pretty good.
I should really do a French popular songs thread with this kind of songs never heard here.
