Nirvana ~~~ More on my Nirvana theories in rd. #2...
Pass ~~~ I guess there is a 1st for everything, I really do not want to choose either...
The Church ~~~ Here I want to choose both. Starfish was the soundtrack to my freshman year of HS...
NWA ~~~ Why can't MOB be in the 8-9 matchup???
Megadeth ~~~ Janet had a few good songs...
Faith No More ~~~ One of my all-time favs...
Soft Cell ~~~ Say Hello Kurtis... the wave goodbye... cuz those are the breaks....
The Replacements ~~~ I would really like to see them win this bracket!!!
#1 Nirvana: A lot closer than most 1/16 matchups.
#9 Salt-N-Pepa: The most underrated hip hop act ever, Salt-n-Pepa are true legends.
#5 Mötley Crüe: My favorite hair metal band by a long shot, and still a staple among my top 100 artists.
Pass (Don't know either well enough)
#3 Janet Jackson: A top-5 artist for me, Janet deserves at least a win or 2.
#6 Faith No More: Tough call, as Men at Work have some great singles. I bought The Real Thing, though, so my vote goes to FNM.
#10 Soft Cell: Seady synth pop with a lot of emotion underneath, Soft Cell are great.
Pass (Don't know enough by The Replacements)
#1 Nirvana
#8 Phil Collins (Push it or Let's Talk About Sex are good party anthems, Against All Odds and Another Day in Paradise guilty pleasures... nothing much about any, I'll go with Phil based on those 2 songs and a few other singles, even though he made terrible songs since that)
pass
#13 Mission Of Burma
pass, sometimes 2 artists are so different that any comparison seem pointless
#6 Faith No More (2 bands you'd better listen in best-ofs than in album, Men at Work best single are fun and quite innocuous but songs like Epic or The Secret Art of Making Enemies are a league higher)
pass
#2 The Replacements
If the Replacements meet Nirvana in the last round, it will be a tough choice, I like Let it Be more than any Nirvana album but I've been very disappointed by other Replacements albums, while all the Nirvana albums are good... Unsatisfied, I Will Dare and Bastards of Young could make the difference.
Nirvana
Phil Collins
Th Church (by a slim margin; originally the Crüe was going to win)
NWA
Megadeth (something tells me this is the right choice
Faith no More
Soft Cell
Replacements
Nirvana
Phil Collins (To quote Eminem: "You know that song by Phil Collins In the Air of the Night when that guy coulda stopped that other guy from drowning but didn't?")
Pass

Pass
Soft Cell (Tough call, really was. "The Breaks" is good, but "Tainted Love" is better. I'd be happy to see either move on, actually.)
Replacements
#1 Nirvana
#9 Salt-N-Pepa
#12 The Church
#13 Mission Of Burma
#3 Janet Jackson
#11 Men At Work - Really dislike Faith No More, even though I really love Roddy Bottom and his next band Imperial Teen.
#7 Kurtis Blow
#2 The Replacements
#1 Nirvana
#9 Salt-N-Pepa
"Meh" beats "Eww."
pass
#13 Mission Of Burma
I like NWA's beats, but all the lyrics seem to be just about recreational murder.
#3 Janet Jackson
Might have voted the other way before I heard the full Rythym Nation album.
#6 Faith No More
Love Epic.
pass
#2 The Replacements
Seriously?
