#1 Michael Jackson
#9 George Harrison - Love Pyromania, loathe Hysteria. But Harrison is much better all around.
#5 Paul Simon - Like Squeeze, but no contest.
#13 Bill Withers - Close call.
#3 Kraftwerk
#11 The Commodores - Remember, KISS is one of the three worst artists of all time.
#7 Paul McCartney/Wings
#2 The Police
#1 Michael - Not a big MJ fan except for a few songs, still too early to vote against them.
#8 Def Leppard - Still enjoy their early stuff.
#12 SQUEEZE - Great band, Paul's solo stuff is way overrated. "Annie Get You Gun" is waaaaayy better than anything Simon ever did, (At least in my opinion).
#4 RUSH - Darkhorse finalist in a tough bracket???
#14 - The Gap Band - It's all about Skate U in 6th grade throwing grenades to "You Dropped A Bomb On Me"
#6 - Kiss
#10 - The B-52's - Yah Fred Schneider is annoying, but so was 70's version of Paul.
#2 - The PoPo - "My Sherona" was a great song, but this is The Po-Leece we are talking about!!!
#16 Richard And Linda Thompson (I do actually prefer MJ, but it's a shame the Thompsons have to leave in the first round and I don't want to see them lose without at least a few votes)
#8 Def Leppard
#5 Paul Simon
#4 Rush
#3 Kraftwerk
#11 The Commodores
#10 The B-52’s
#2 The Police
#16 Richard And Linda Thompson (pretty even, but then the whole child molestation thing tipped the scales)
#9 George Harrison (mop top beats hair rock)
#5 Paul Simon
Don't Care
Don't Care
#11 The Commodores
#7 Paul McCartney/Wings (Almost too close to call)
#2 The Police
#1 Michael Jackson (I'm going MJ just because I'm not a big Richard and Linda Thompson fan but remember that you are voting for Ben, Got To Be There and Off the Wall MJ. Weird to see him #1 seed for the 70's)
#9 George Harrison
#5 Paul Simon
#4 Rush (Tough call)
#3 Kraftwerk
#11 The Commodores
#7 Paul McCartney/Wings
#15 The Knack
Do artists show up in multiple decades? I guess Michael Jackson only had two albums in the 80's but I don't think there are many people who wouldn't call him an 80's artist.

It is there overall body of work, the artists were catagorized by the decade in which they debuted for tournament purposes. Otherwise how many artists would show up in multiple decades if you only voted for their work in the decade in which they were placed in.
