TOSS UP -- An above average rock band that has put out good albums for 15 years vs. 1 great album...
ELVIS -- Before the tourney if you had a bet on which Elvis would go further...
TOSS UP -- Wow, talk about a matchup where 1/3 of the voters are strong one way, 1/3 another and the remainder are like me having extreme difficulty choosing a winner...
LENNON -- I would imagine Huey's run coming to an end...

I have to say, there wasn't a single difficult decision for me here. I enjoy all these artists regularly, bar Santana. That said, if I'm with friends, I would much rather them put Santana on than Prodigy. The three-ways are alwasy so interesting, but I feel pretty comfortable with Daft Punk.

#3 Earth, Wind & Fire: Tough choice between them and Daft Punk for me! Iron Maiden intrigues me, but I haven't given them a shot yet. That said, I tend to side with funk.
#5 Sex Pistols: I'm not a huge fan or anything, but I like their album. Foo Fighters are ok, but none of their singles have really leapt out at me.
#2 Elvis Costello: This Year's Model was a total blitzkrieg for me last year!
#4 Run-D.M.C.: Essential, fun early hip hop or limp glam-lite? Easy choice.
#3 Huey Lewis & the News: I'll probably be the only one voting this way, but I'd be much happier to be stuck with them than John Lennon- geesh.
#5 Björk: One of the very few artists that ever challenge Prince for supremacy for me.
#11 The Prodigy: I'm not a huge fan of either, but I quite like "Breathe".

Prince - Not a big Pickett fan.
Daft Punk - Frankly, I don't know who I would choose between Daft Punk and Prince should they make it through next round. I think it would be foolish not to pick Prince, but I really enjoy Daft Punk.
Sex Pistols - Close call. I enjoy the Foo Fighters and think highly of their straight ahead rock.

Queen - I'm feeling these days like Run DMC may be overrated. They certainly never gave us anything as fun and fine as A Night at the Opera.

Bjork - Like VW, but they are not in the same league.
