Suprisingly, no nomination for Gorillaz or Fuck Buttons, but who will win and who else should have been nominated? (The prize is open to British and Irish albums released in the past 12 months).
No doubt the xx are favourites, which is probably a bad thing, seeing how the favourites never win. My favourite is Wild Beasts, I really hope they win!
Mumford and Sons is surprisingly solid, Villagers is really good (#11 of 2010 for me so far), Wild Beasts is great (#2 of 2009 for me) and Paul Weller is ok-ish. Haven't heard the rest.
