I dislike Muse pretty strongly. I find them irritatingly melodramatic and faux-angsty. But, Robert Palmer is god-awful. All his stuff I've heard is irritatingly whiny insecurely male cheesy garbage.

Erasure - A "guilty pleasure," of sorts. I don't dislike Bush, but get no pleasure like I do from some of the Erasure stuff... "Yoooou aaaaare on ooooone siiiiiide, and I'm on the ooooother"
Arrested Development - Recently got back into their debut. I don't like it as much as I did back in the day, but damn if "Tennessee" and "U" aren't great songs.
Robert Palmer - Don't like Palmer, really don't like Muse
Metallica - This is one of the few times I vote for the more influential above the one I would prefer to listen to. I'd rather listen to Yeah Yeah Yeahs than Metallica, but Metallica's early work is simply too important to ignore. That said, from the Black Album onward, Metallica has been unimpressive.
