Favorite this week: Very tough call. Maxinquaye, A Night at the Opera, and If You're Feeling Sinister are each among my favorite albums. "Up the Junction," "If You Don't Know Me By Now," and "Instant Karma!" are among my favorite songs. Any other day, I might go with one of those bands but today, I give the nod to the Dead, whose discography is very underrated, mostly because of how annoying their fans are and how incredibly overrated their live reputation is.

Favorite I didn't vote for: Love, with Frankie Lymon hanging around also.
