The last couple of years I haven't listened to new music until albums have shown up on EOY lists, but I decided to get up to speed with 2010. I started to listen to some albums with Megacritic as my main source, but I did keep an eye on the RYM charts as well (especially to get a grip on singles as well). You know how I am... it didn't take long until I had filled a spreadsheet with positions from both Megacritic and RYM. And based on the spreadsheet I also made a Spotify list.

Now I am so satisfied with my 2010 music summary that I want to share the spreadsheet and Spotify list with you all. I hope you will find it useful.

Of course, Stefan's Megacritic remains as THE LIST of the most acclaimed music from the current year. Since my list is based on RYM ratings as well, it is not (only) a list of critically acclaimed music, and therefore I think I will just post the links here in this forum thread.
