Any list that has SEPARATION SUNDAY at #6 is OK with me. That album completely blew me away when I first heard it, and continues to do so; the Hold Steady's two subsequent albums may be ranked higher - and don't get me wrong, I really like both of them, too - but when the dust settles I believe it's going to be SS that defines the band's legacy. ("Tramps like us ... and we like tramps!")
Not sure why, but that list doesn't seem to fit what I thought was the Onion AV club's personality. But I tend to like their reviews, so this one might be a good one to mine for some stuff I haven't heard.
