The bike Marcin is selling is a War Office Twin A14, it's from the first large contract ever produced by BSA for the War Office in 1932-1933 (see O&M page 67 to have an idea how that bike looked like). The bike is a real basketcase, frame and forks are original War Office (once found in France by Marcin), the engine is found seperately and has a non original number.

It seems Marcin is also offering new cil heads on ebay.
Together with all the parts Josef is making it won't be long till we can order a BSA v twin, Ron ! :slightly_smiling_face:

The BEF certainly took some V-Twins to France. The famous film of 12th Lancers in 1939 shows them alongside the Morris Armoured Cars...but they had all disappeared by May 1940....Were they sent back to the UK or still in Base Ordnance Depots in France ?
