After being unhappy with the various steel clutch plate offerings available today, I decided to commission my own.
I've been running them for nearly a year now, and after overheating the clutch earlier in the year I though I'd better have a look.
This was also a good opportunity to try the improved clutch spring compressor tool inspired by Rob Nortier.
To my shock no serious faults found other than a little grease had escaped the roller bearings.
All plates washed in acetone and reassembled. Clutch feels better than it did before.
Happy with the spring compressor I will put it into production soon.
There are some oddities to it's use, but I will supply notes with the kit.
