M20 Speedo Repairer

Can anyone recommend a repairer for the Smiths/Jaeger speedo as per WM20 please? Having spent the last 40+ years being told that I’m always doing 80, I’ve decided to get mine fixed.
Thanks in advance, John.

Where do you live?

Re: M20 Speedo Repairer

UK, Hampshire.

Re: M20 Speedo Repairer

Phil Woods in Sussex is the guy I've used several times. Reasonable prices and quick turn round. Worth a shout.

I can also recommend Phil as Ron says, he recently did a pin drive speedo for me and it is a first class restoration.

Another recommendation for Philip Woods.

Re: M20 Speedo Repairer

I use Ian Bartram and so do a lot of the dealers which says a lot imo.
Great service, good prices based up in Norfolk.
Email me if you want his number.

Can someone delete Joshua’s post and send him back to his village…

Unfortunately, replying to spammers makes it harder to spot them !

Re: M20 Speedo Repairer

Just to round this off, based on some local intel I took my speedo to Ashley Pople in Farnborough. A key factor was that he is fairly nearby, and with currently having a near-irreplaceable part from another bike gone AWOL with a repairer hundreds of miles away I now prefer to deal with people who’s door I can knock upon! Ashley did a good job, turned it round in 10 days, was happy to chat and charged £90 for a mechanical repair.
