Hi
I have a genuine bsa m21 piston - marked with the part number on top and a B stamped in opposite side
I know many Ohv pistons are marked for assembly purposes - but is there a relevance to this B stamping
It’s in line with the gudgeon pin
Anyone got info to put this to bed in my head

I've seen this on a number of pistons and have never thought of it as a fitment instruction...It may be an inspection stamp..To my knowledge it has no relevence to fitment and I've never seen information to that effect...Some pistons are marked 'front' and that is self explanatory..Specific fitment details would normally be noted on a slip within the piston box...Ian
