Famous Forum Posters.

I believe that this is Jeremy who regularly posts on here.

I think that I'd quite like to try a pair but inevitably there will be a long waiting list of Guardian readers now. I hope that you can still manage to get some motorcycling in, Jeremy !

Yes I watched a video of him some years ago , start to finish, making a pair of clogs with the old traditional tools. Very interesting. Ron

Re: Famous Forum Posters.

When I was a kid I lived for a short time in Clitheroe...There was a clog makers shop in the town at the time and many people still wore them regularly as I believe the Dutch still do (well Henk liked his anyway and there was a Dutch guy who always wore them at the jumbles in the UK..)...They used to make a distinctive sound as people walked by the house...Ian

I've even seen Henk riding his M20 in clogs!!??

The guy at jumbles with the yellow clogs and bowler hat was "Magneto" expert Theodole Leens. Brother of Tony Leens of Indian Motorcycle museum and cigars fame. Ron

Re: Famous Forum Posters.

Jerry is an old friend of mine. I bought my first Royal Enfield from his brother. Who doesn't make clogs!
