Seasons greetings to all on the forum....The chap in the forum picture is plainly enjoying his Christmas kisses and he may be there for some time judging by the wheel and tube lying in the background!...:santa: :relaxed: Ian

Re: Christmas greetings...

Merry Crimbo everyone and thank you for being there, wherever you may be.
Six years into my WM21 build in January... 2026 will be the year she lives again. I feel it in m' water!

Re: Christmas greetings...

Best Wishes to everyone on here, apart from the wretched spammers, of course !

I hope to bump into some of you at jumbles and events next year.

Re: Christmas greetings...

I hope you look where you're going and don't bump into me Rik. I fall over easily these days!!:face_with_thermometer: Ron

Re: Christmas greetings...

Best wishes to everyone!!

And does anyone recognize the bike it the header picture? it's taken in 1939, and doesn't look like a common make.

Cheers,

Re: Christmas greetings...

Do you mean the one with the Mistletoe Lex? Certainly looks like an early WM20 to me. It definitely has the pre war BSA handlebar controls.

Re: Christmas greetings...

I thought BSA arse-about-face levers. The world's most impractical valve lifter too.

The ratchet on the brake though is a thoroughly good idea.

Re: Christmas greetings...

Actually Rik, the valve lifter is even easier to use than the usual hang underneath trigger. I've had those levers on my M20 for many years and they really are a pleasure to ride with. Ron

Re: Christmas greetings...

Yes Ron, think you are right, it just looks bent up that valve lifter lever!
