A friend has this engine in Italy and is wanting to sell. He thinks there is something significant about the 911 prefix to the number on the case. Can anyone enlighten us? And can anyone date it from that. Cheers. Hopefully I can add photos.

Rob, unfortunately the photos haven't worked. Many of us are having problems with the photo posting at the moment.
