Good morning everyone, after fixing the pushrod issue, yesterday after a ride of 290 km the bike started to cough. Then it stopped. I cleaned the spark plug and also replaced it and cleaned the points as well. Nothing, I cleaned the carburetor, still nothing. Then it started going downhill but after 30 km she stopped completely. Now I don't have any spark anymore. What could have happened? Thank you as always for any help you can give me.

I cleaned the points also because I saw I have lost the cover points

Maybe the points assembly has come loose on the shaft. I've had this happen when the tab washer hadn't been bent over the screw head.

Don’t discount the insulator on the bearing breaking up & causing intermittent spark loss
It happened me in France this year bike ran & then after a cough & splutter - it stopped with no starting her

Only after I took the mag pinion off did I find excessive bearing & armature movement
Worth checking - it’s normally the driven side that fails

Remove both the grounding and spark brushes and make sure they are not worn out or have oil on them.
