I've just stumbled across this brilliant website and am now wondering If I could get any information on the dating and history of my very corroded and sorry looking Royal Enfield WD/C 350 side valve.
I am more than happy to contribute to the website or dating costs if required.
Do I need to send the bike info to a special registrars address if you can help in my project.

Can you post pictures of the Frame and engine numbers and any other markings on the engine, or email them to me. (Directly off the bike, not what might be in the V5 registration document) Jan Vandevelde on this forum runs the RE register. Ron

I will get the photos and any other info across to you at the weekend.
I don't have a V5 certificate for the bike, but I do have the original Buff coloured log book with all the (post office?) stamps from1947 to 1958.
The document has a red government stamp across it stating "Government vehicle before the date shown below". My thoughts are that i need to get the bike back together before requesting a V5?.
