I've never heard of it Bob. They used them in North Africa and other hot climate areas. The instructions are "fill with SAE 50 in hot weather or SAE 30 in the cold". Ron
Thanks for the reply Ron.I think the same as you, it was just a thought that came up. As you say, they were ridden hard & not spared in many applications & in hot parts of the world. If anyone knows of one being fitted, I'd like to know for interest's sake.
