Im repairing again the rear frame for the stand connection .
The previous owner fitted a cheap indian stand which bent under the frame and fractured the frame.A common problem i believe .
Ive now bought a British made stand which is much more substantial.Twice the Indian price but twice as good .
Question: are the fixing holes for the stand bolts in identical positions on either side. Sounds an obvious question but , on the pic on this forum re this problem ,the measurement is shown but different to the remaining hole on my frame .
Yes the fixing bolt holes are identical.
Remember the bolt has a spring washer fitted to it first and there is a lock nut to stop it rattling loose.
None of the bolts easy to purchase are not ideal, but I should have that problem resolved in a few weeks.
