patch "DR" , "MC"

Hello, I have a question about the correct placement of the DR and MC patch on the sleeve of the battledress. Where exactly should it be placed according to the regulations? Could there have been a combination of both or is this designation excluded?
Thanks for the explanation.

Re: patch "DR" , "MC"

I'm not sure they were covered by regulations, it appears they were an unofficial privately purchased badge allowed in some units but not in others for unknown periods of time.

Lower left sleeve according to photos but remember high enough that your gauntlets don't cover it.

This photo is probably an exception, who would believe that Dutchmen could behave is such a way?

Re: patch "DR" , "MC"

This is something I wondered about with my late Dad.
I did ask him rank and he said he refused to be promoted and wouldn't wear anything to show this.
That said I have pictures showing the 4th Indian shoulder patch.
Also, towards the end of his service in Austria what looks like a gloved fist. 1st Army ??
