I'm in need of petcocks for my m20 project.
1942 frame.
There are many "new" models out there, but I would like to obtain the correct ones.
Push type appear to be appropriate.

It depends what Andy H means by "correct ones". The original were Enots Hexagon taps. Jiri in CZ seems to have little worry about trade marks etc. and his parts are difficult to discern from original.
OK I'm back to posting pictures. Rik is correct in what he says. Originally they were the Enots 1/8 x 1/8 BSP taps but most nowadays have probably been changed to the more readily available 1/4 x 1/4 BSP taps. Ron
For me the only acceptable ones are these, nickel plated like the originals, and all the right features, not sure, but think they have composite cork in them, and work OK, as long as you won't let them totally dry out.
I've been using the ones shown on my M20 for a couple of years now without any problems.
The only thing I don't like is the adapters.
They do work, but I'd have liked them to be more substantial.
I'll make some next time on brass if I remember.
