@ Mark. I will defenitly keep the ring in place as a spacer then.
@ Ian. The bearings that where in the engine must have been in there for atleast many thousands of miles. It never had a sealed bearing in it and that worked well.
Now that I have the engine apart there is a chance to improve with a sealed bearing even tho it seems not nessesary.
I've read the posts on here discussing the seal and there seams to be no definite answer on leaving both seals in place or taking the inner seal out.
I have think I will go for the option with only the outer seal in place. So oil will get to the bearing easier.
But as I stated the bearing that was in there had no seal at al and that worked fine asswell.
