Hi, my '42 m20 has a modern horn button and dip switch, could I replace it with a replica? What should be the finish and should it be combined? Many thanks.

It's my understanding that by 1942 the dip switch was deleted. A simple horn push was fitted near the brake lever......Something like this.

The instructions were that if the headlamp filament blew, you simple swapped the wire to the other filament. Behind a black out mask, it didn't really matter!
