I've got what looks to be an old stock spring. It's about 122mm centre to centre, with 11 mm holes at the end.

I only have a catalogue picture of the original and now I know the M20 version is somewhat shorter but as it’s by far the easiest and cheapest to get hold of it remains top of the list if I don’t find something like in the photo. Who knew making a rear stand could such a drama.
